Let’s dive a little deeper and discuss each test-

GETS Elementary: meant for students of age group between seven to eight years, this test is designed to build strong academic foundation of your child. This is a two part based test, part one focuses on creative skills and test duration is 20 minutes, whereas, part two focuses on academic skills and test duration is half an hour.

GETS Primary: suitable for students of age group between nine to ten year, this test is based on famous CLIL concept. Here CLIL stands for content and language integrated learning. This test aims at assessing academic language proficiency along with communication skills of your child. The test is divided in three parts; part one focuses on general English, part two focuses on subject language and part three is English speaking assessment test focusing on oral presentation skills.

GETS Secondary & Higher: again, both the tests are based on above stated CLIL concept. The results of both the tests are mapped to the CEFR Certificate in India. GETS secondary is for students of age group 11 to 12 years old and GETS Higher is meant for students of age group 13 to 14 years old. Both the tests comprise of three levels; level one focuses on General English, level two focuses on subject language and level three focuses on oral presentation skills. The duration and tasks for each level in secondary and higher would differ.
